Studio Agni is a ceramics and pottery studio based in Cornwall, UK, founded and led by Funda Ersoysal. The studio creates handmade ceramics and pottery for the home, bringing together functional objects, collectable pieces, and bespoke commissions through a material-led and process-driven approach.
They incorporate ash glazes made from domestic waste materials—including residues from saunas, wood burners, and BBQs—transforming what would otherwise be discarded into surfaces shaped by fire and use. Around 70% of the clay used in the studio is sourced from St Agnes in Cornwall, grounding the work in its local geological context while reducing transport impact.
